Allium or ornamental onion are summer blooming with ball shaped blooms over interesting blue green foliage. Best grown in full to part sun.
'Blue Eddy' refers to the swirling rosettes of blue grey foliage. Lilac pink flowers bloom above foliage like lollipops, getting to be 8-12" tall.
'Lavender Bubbles' a later blooming variety with dark purple flowers and blue green foliage getting to be 12-14" tall.
'Medusa' has twisty foliage with snake like flower buds that later open to purple ball shaped blooms up to 24" tall.
'Millenium' clump forming glossy green foliage with 2" purple ball shaped blooms in July and August with a height of 15-20"
