Fraser Fir look very similar to a Balsam tree but have much better needle retention. These trees were freshly cut in New Hampshire just before coming to us. They are full, beautiful trees that will last through your Christmas celebration. Grade #1 means that at least three sides look good, with one side having a flaw.
Tips for long lasting trees:
-Ensure the tree is given a fresh cut before being put in water which will help it's water absorption. We will give it a fresh cut at the nursery but you should try to get it in water within a few hours.
-If you can't get your tree in water in the house right away, leave the tree outside, preferably in a shady spot. Don't leave it in a heated space if not in water as it will dry out.
-Make sure you keep the tree base in water, they can absorb a lot of water, especially at first so be sure to water it daily.
-Try to place trees away from heating vents or fireplaces.
